It’s an extra special day on The Ellen Show, because the incomparable CHER is here! The Goddess of Pop has had an illustrious career, and she’s inspired many singers, dancers, and performers along the way. Cher has truly done it all, from her early singing days to huge hits like “Believe,” to major achievements in film and on stage! Not only is she a talented performer, she has used her voice to become an important figure in social activism and speaking out against injustice. Cher stops by the show today to catch up with Ellen and to talk about her latest film, “Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!” She’ll perform the classic ABBA song, “SOS” from her upcoming ABBA tribute album, “Dancing Queen”! It’ll be nothing short of an extra glamorous day on The Ellen Show!
Then, Ellen is pleased to welcome Guidance Counselor SHELLY FITZGERALD to the show. Shelly has worked at Roncalli Catholic High School in Indianapolis for fifteen years, and was placed on administrative leave after school officials discovered she was married to a woman. Her students have spoken out to protest the school’s decision, and in support of Shelly, and Ellen has invited her to tell her story today. Don’t miss this important discussion and interview!
TGIF, on Ellen!
